Pine State Elevator would like to take a moment to introduce ourselves. We are a Maine family owned and operated company, serving Northern New England for over fifty years. Pine State Elevator is a full service elevator company. Our services include maintenance, service, modernization, inspections, and new installations. We are a merit shop company with over thirty employees in the elevator field. Our main office is in Portland, Maine with area service locations in Bangor, Maine and Manchester, New Hampshire.

Pine State Elevator offers a variety of maintenance and/or service agreements that can be tailored to your elevator's needs. These can be set up to include your yearly state inspections, safety tests, five year tests, and even your certificate fee to reduce your time spent tracking these important tasks. Our service technicians are trained to service all type of elevators regardless of manufacturer. Our parts department is one of the largest in New England and frequently, a needed part can be found in our stock room rather than wait for the part to be shipped from a central supply located many states away. We offer 24-hour response 365 days a year with local mechanics.

Our five in house elevator inspectors can keep you intoned of your elevator's compliance with Maine's latest codes and advise you of any needed code updates. We are also a full installation company with over 3000 elevator installations in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts. Pine State offers holed hydraulic, hole less hydraulic, roped hydraulic, telescopic, and cable elevator installations either freight or passenger. All of our installations utilize American made equipment and non-proprietary controls. Additionally, we install a full line of handicap lift products as well as residential elevators. Pine State also offers a major modernization and code compliance service. We can survey your elevator and work with you to update your aging elevator to today's standards while retaining those components that still comply with engineering standards. Pine State's specialties include controller replacements, fire service updates, jack replacements, ADA code compliance, and many others.
